A Kindergarten Girl Shows So Much Love!

Madison Black felt called to help Liam, who has brain cancer.  Read on to find out what she did.

I’ve been so impressed with the many ways the community has gathered together to help little Liam Jaussi, who was diagnosed last June with a cancerous brain tumor.  It is a statement of how caring and supportive people really can be.  I was especially touched when we at MudPuddles were approached by little Madison Black, a kindergartener at Edy Ridge, who wanted to help Liam by selling beaded bracelets at our store.  What a loving thing to want to do!  Since we’re unable to sell handmade items that haven’t been governmentally tested, we suggested instead that we do a shopping day at MudPuddles to help Liam.  On Feb 12, friends of Liam’s purchased toys and books worth $694.56, earning 20% of that ($138.92) for Doernbecher.  That’s a lot from one little kindergarten girl’s love.
