Loose Change
We’ve played lots of money games, but Loose Change is our favorite. Each card has a photo of a real coin, plus the cash value written down. Each player adds a card to the row in the middle, adding up to $1. If you finish the dollar on your turn, you keep the pile. If you go over $1, it counts against you. There are also “lucky find” cards, where you tell the other players what coins you would need to make the “lucky find”.
Adding up the change out loud, and competing to end the pile makes this an enjoyable game to learn to count coins.
The photos are clear and realistic, but sorry, MudPuddles doesn’t accept Loose Change playing cards as payment.
2-6 players, ages 6 and up.
